PUPPET THEATRE NATFA “KR. SARAFOV”, Bulgaria THE LOVE OF DON PERLIMPLÍN

Annotation

The play “The Love of Don Perlimplín” was written in 1933 by Federico García Lorca. The dramaturgy is powerful because nowadays it is still up to date.

The team that made a puppetry performance of Lorca’s work shows the great amount of possibilities that puppet theatre has. It impresses the audience with its lovely music, puppets, scenography and interesting choreography. Poetry and humour bind together in the original decision of the creative team to show 3 different points of view in this performance. The young actors – students of Puppet Theatre Acting, will impress with their puppetry skills and the ability to build interesting characters with them.
